Uh-oh.

Man, I was so jazzed to hit 30 pounds lost today! Yesterday for lunch I had a salad (grabbed the wrong one - it didn't even have chicken. dang.), then some fruit and a water. For dinner a 12" club, water, apples. I got on the scale this morning and... 306.1. That's *NOT* 305. Not at all. I guess I did have a 12oz can of 7up before bed, but man... I'm bummed. This could be the bad lunch/dinner from two days ago though, and this is what happens when you workout through a bad meal day. I don't know. I'll have to be analytical with regards to today.

Overall though, that means I'm going to have the worst week yet for my weight loss. I still have another weigh-in tomorrow, but man.

You know... I switched to intervals on the elliptical. All week. And now I'm having a crappy weight-loss week. Are they related? Should I switch to a higher degree of difficulty on the intervals? I just don't know. I'm learning as I go.

Bottom line, today I went up in weight. And that sucks, especially as I was *so close* to hitting another milestone. Lesson? When you fall down, get back up. And quickly. So I will.

I am no expert but the advice I recieved from the last attempt was that when you hit a plateau keep doing what you are. Your body has to adjust to a new comfort zone. It fights to keep it at that zone. Its easier to go up rather than go down.

man you need to eat!! Not bad food but more food. If your a 300 pound guy you should be eating way more. Your body has probably gone into starvation mode if what you ate yesterday is what you listed. I know allot of people don't subscribe to the idea of starvation mode but i really do think your body is good at holding onto energy in the form of fat if you start eating way to little. My body is good at that. Some days i will eat a little more and low and behold the next day I loose weight. If at all possible ditch the soda, its worthless S.... Most importantly stick to your guns man. Stay the course and reap the benefits. Keep doing what you know is right.

Well, I am eating. I restrict calories to an extent, but I'm always around 1800-2000 calories a day, which I feel is just fine for me.

Did I mention that I went and got a 450+ calorie coffee from Starbucks? Maybe I should have. lol. Not the best way to spend the calories, but I am getting them.

2k cals is probably enough but you should definitely try to get better foods in there... high cal coffees and soda are not the best for fueling the body, but I am sure you already know this.
