Another frustrating weigh-in

This morning I'm at 261.6, down half a pound from yesterday. That sucks.

I should be out of the 260s by now! I went to the gym for a second cardio session yesterday. I counted all my calories and came in at 2k. I've been to the gym 6 times this week already!!! What more do I have to do just to drop the weekend weight???

Yesterday I drank 4 liters of water. The front of my jeans smelled of urine I'd drank so much and continually peed. Gross, right? I know! But still - two-fucking-sixties...

I'd hoped to be 258 by the end of this week. Now I'm praying for a bigger loss than I got today, because I need to at least be back to 260. Pathetic.

It's time to change up the routine again, methinks...

Over-training can cause increased water retention. I don't work out within 24 hours of weigh-in. Neither do the contestants on Biggest Loser. Cut yourself some slack imo.

You're doing ok. Don't give up on this weight loss thing. It can get frustrating but you gotta keep on keepin' on. That's the only way we all will see a change in not only the numbers on the scale but in our inches too. Try measuring yourself. You could be losing inches even if your weight stays the same. I have been getting frustrated with the scale for a while now. My weight has been fluctuating 1 pound up then 1 then POINT 5 down and so on, BUT I have seen a loss in my measurments. The other day I weighed myself and my weight was the same but I found out that I had lost 1/4 of an inch off my waist. Anyways, what I'm trying to say is that even though your weight isn't changing, you may see a difference in your measurments. Try measuring your body every week and see what happens. I'll guarentee that if you keep drinking your water and working out that you WILL see a change. You have to measure your progress in more then just the scale.
You're doing a good job. Just hang in there and NEVER GIVE UP!
Have a great day!

Hang in there...I hit the plateau about 6 weeks ago were my lost was only .2, .4, .4 for 3 weeks straight. Then I broke through and had drops of 1.8, 2.4, 4.2 the past 3 weeks. It'll come...I had to keep on reminding myself that this is not a race, but a long term commitment.

I did start doing some HIIT training on the elipitical during the last 3 weeks that seem to help melt away the lbs. It was a bear and man I was worn out. 5 min warm-up, then alternate 2 mins high intensity (up your rpms to almost double what you do during warm-up), with 3 mins of lower rpms to get your heart rate down. I did this for 40 mins a session and felt every minute of it.

That is sooo annoying! Why it happens, I don't know, but don't give up, keep on with what you are doing and I am sure you will have one of those big losses soon.

I think you are being too hard on yourself. It is always a good think when you are losing weight, even if it is less than you wish.
