Keep on

You'd think by now I'd know that the weekend is my worst enemy, yet there I was, eating at Buffalo Wild Wings, eating at Panakoeken, eating a cheesecake dessert... This is got to stop, but unless I get a plan together, I'm effed. And both this and next weekends I'm not around the house much, so that could really continue to screw me.

Ugh!

Yesterday I did hit the gym in the morning and again in the evening, so yay to that.

Early on, my plans for the weekend were simple: do no more damage than necessary. Then I realized that I was squandering a good portion of the week, and that there really was no good reason not to amp things up on the weekend instead of just let it push me back a couple of spaces. With that realization... that I can indeed own the weekend in the same manner that I do the week... I shifted my weight-loss journey into a new gear.

Don't settle for less than you deserve with this, Andrew. Get fed up with cheating yourself and get this thing happening for real.

I'm rooting for ya, guy!

Weekends are a tough time for me too, that's why I chose to weigh in Monday mornings. Then I'm FORCED to watch it over the weekend. I have to look at the week and the weekend as two separate entities and tackle each accordingly because my schedules are so diff during these times. But I'm figuring it out, and you can too! It's hard but you'll see so much more progress if you can figure out a way to get your weekends under control. Good luck to you!

I'm struggling to alter habits for a different health issue right now. It's not easy. It takes a lot of repetition and practice.

Thinking will eventually lead to doing. Keep in mind the rewards and payoffs for keeping on even on the weekends. Stuff them in your pocket. Take them out and read them before you place an order or take a bite.

How about you just plan not to eat crap?

Did that sound bitchy? I wasn't trying to be rude. It just seems simple... I mean, say to yourself, "This weekend, I'm not going to eat stuff that I know is junk. Stuff that I know is going to lead me to a bad weigh-in." And then don't. But I guess that's always easier said than done... Maybe try to eat out less as well. If The Gal wants to go out a bunch suggest cooking a nice (healthy) meal for the two of you instead.

Ugh with the food! C'mon dude! You have done amazingly well here, so let's get back at 'er. You are the man with two alarms set as to not miss a workout...now apply that kind of commitment to your food, and you are golden!

I love to workout but I am so busy and hardly to do that. But thankful because I have found a new method on how to workout 30min/day :-)
