At some point, I then go bananas and eat two whole pizzas or something. Not going to happen! So I allow myself anything I'd like, so long as I continue to exercise and maintain portion control. And if I do choose a 1200 calorie meal, I try to minimize the other meals. I don't always succeed, but I do succeed in getting right back at it the next day. And that's a victory I never had in the past. :)Roderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01368809834979082018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19464497.post-2130301057357033682009-02-13T10:48:00.000-06:002009-02-13T10:48:00.000-06:00Kudos for not being disheartened. Seems a week away due to illness has some undesirable affects on your endurance. Anyways - it's the weeks like this where you realize that this is your new life style. Lose/gain/maintain...it's just another step on the path to a healthier, more active, person.

If I haven't told you before - i really like reading your blog. It's nice to know there is someone else out there that considers themselves "on program" and still able to eat bar food every once and again.
